Welcome to The Neon World ("we," "us," "our," or the "Site"). By accessing or using our website (theneonworld.com), purchasing our products, or utilizing our custom neon generator and quote request services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully before making a purchase.

General E-Commerce Terms

By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence. You may not use our products or services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, nor may you, in the use of the Service, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws).

A breach or violation of any of the Terms will result in an immediate termination of your access to our services and potential cancellation of active orders.

Custom Orders & Digital Visualizations

  1. Mockups & Previews: Our online Custom Neon Generator and custom quote mockups provide a digital preview of your sign. Because all our signs are 100% handcrafted using custom acrylic backings and flexible LED tubing, slight variations in dimensions ($\pm 1-2\text{ cm}$), color hues, and acrylic cut contours may occur compared to screen previews.

  2. Approval Process: For custom logo uploads and non-standard custom orders, production begins only after digital proof approval or order placement. Once a design proof is approved and production begins, no further structural or text modifications can be made.

  3. Intellectual Property Rights: By submitting logos, artwork, or custom typography for manufacturing, you represent and warrant that you hold full legal rights, trademarks, or explicit permissions to reproduce such designs. The Neon World accepts no liability for third-party copyright or trademark infringement arising from customer-submitted artwork.

Pricing, Payment & Order Modifications

  1. Pricing Adjustments: Prices for our products, customized options, and accessories are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue any product or service without prior notice.

  2. Payment Processing: Orders are billed in full at the time of purchase. Payments are processed securely via encrypted third-party payment gateways (e.g., Shopify Payments, credit cards, PayPal). We do not directly store complete credit or debit card numbers on our servers.

  3. Cancellations:

    • Custom Signs: May be canceled for a full refund only prior to design approval or the start of manufacturing. Once production has commenced, orders cannot be canceled or modified.

    • Catalog/Non-Custom Signs: May be canceled before shipment processing.

Shipping, Risk of Loss & Import Terms

  1. Delivery Terms: Products are shipped directly to your specified address. All orders sent internationally or domestically within supported regions are handled on a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) basis unless otherwise indicated, meaning shipping costs and import tariffs are handled at checkout.

  2. Address Accuracy: Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate shipping details. The Neon World is not liable for delayed or misdelivered shipments resulting from incorrect address inputs provided at checkout.

  3. Title and Risk: Title to products and risk of loss pass to you upon delivery by the shipping carrier to your provided shipping address.

Installation, Use & Limitation of Liability

  1. Proper Usage: Unless explicitly ordered with an Outdoor Waterproofing (IP67) upgrade, all standard LED neon signs are intended solely for indoor use. Exposing indoor-rated signs to water, extreme humidity, or outdoor elements voids all warranty coverage.

  2. Electrical & Installation: Customers are solely responsible for proper installation. While our low-voltage 12V signs feature easy-to-use mounting hardware, any hardwiring or permanent wall alteration should be conducted by qualified professionals.

  3. Limitation of Liability: In no event shall The Neon World, its directors, officers, employees, or manufacturing partners be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages resulting from product misuse, improper installation, electrical failures, or uninstalling costs.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms of Service and any separate agreements shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the state in which our primary administrative operations are based, without regard to conflict of law principles.
